The Swaddle Nightjar commissioned us to design a wordmark for the independent media publication for young Indians. The Swaddle provides nuanced, balanced perspectives on news, culture and current events. The wordmark is comprised of custom letterforms based on our own typeface, FT Bureau.

Basic Space We were commissioned to create a custom typeface for the LA based, digital marketplace, Basic Space. The typeface is designed to reflect the avant garde principles behind the Basic Space brand. Influenced by modernist typography and native browser styling.

The Rake We were commissioned to re-create the word mark for the lifestyle and fashion magazine, The Rake. We drew a completely custom serif to embody the philosophy and personality behind the magazine.

Passo Commissioned by modern Italian restaurant Passo in Shoreditch London, we created a custom typeface inspired by the irregular letterforms found throughout old Italian facades. We embodied the concept with a playful approach by giving each glyph 3 alternate widths, condensed, regular and extended. Subsequently any word can be styled in a number of different combinations.

Our Time As part of the System family, System Mono was initially created when we were commissioned by Catherine Garcia to create a mono-spaced version of the family. The commission also included an extensive assortment of photography icons that were added to the glyph set. Now also available to buy and license from our retail collection.
